Welcome to the School of Money Mentors

Our mission is simple, to build a community of like-minded money mentors. We want to bridge the gap between complex financial systems and everyday lived experience. Traditional, top-down or bottom up financial advice, is failing to meet the challenges of today, but we're confident we can bring a lot more to the party. 

We want to create a space where people can share ideas, and understand the psychological and systemic structures that govern our financial choices. 

Mentors are the translators of the language of money - empowering hard-working people to move beyond financial confusion, and compound loss, and build long-term resilience and regional economic mobility. 

Financial clarity is not just about spreadsheets, it's about reclaiming the freedom to make informed choices for a more financially secure future.

Financial guidance currently exists at two extremes. At one end, Regulated Financial Advice manages life savings and investments - essential, but often inaccessible to the many. At the other, Crisis Management steps in when debt or hardship has already taken hold.

This leaves a vast 'silent majority' in the middle: people who aren't in crisis but aren't being served by traditional wealth management. Without a clear route to guidance, potential is lost, and avoidable mistakes become permanent.

The School of Money Mentors exists to resolve financial friction before it sparks. Think of it as proactive financial foresight. We don’t wait for the drama of a crisis; we equip mentors with the tools and knowledge to help others navigate the everyday decisions that dictate their long-term freedom.

One of the most critical conversations we facilitate is the reality of opportunity cost. It isn't just about what you spend; it’s about the unimagined compound loss experienced when money is used without purpose.
By teaching people to recognise these 'invisible' costs, we help them build genuine resilience and move from simply getting by, to building a foundation of financial resilience for the future.
